For our honeymoon, we wanted a trip that we could only do once. Not only because honeymoons are once in a lifetime, but because we wanted the adventure to be a once in a lifetime journey. Wander Africa completely delivered. Brandi, Jay and their team curated an amazing itinerary that perfectly delivered on our hope to both adventurously explore while at the same time deeply relaxing. Better than the itinerary was how well the Wander Africa team delivered. Weeks before travel, Brandi and Jay made sure we had everything in order with vaccinations, packing lists and assistance. Upon landing in Africa, we never had to worry about anything - every portion of our trip had been planned - allowing us to just bask in the moment and enjoy. The itinerary was also perfectly put together - we saw all Big 5 animals and what felt like all the biodiversity that Africa has to offer (even though we know a 17 day journey is just the tip of the iceberg). The careful planning that the Wander Africa team put into selecting each hotel, camp, flight and guide really made the difference. Ultimately, it was everything Michelle and I could have asked for.

Our trip to Kenya with Jay & Brandi was truly an experience of our lifetimes! Every single detail was so thoughtfully planned —no two days were the same. The itinerary took us to three amazing but different conservancies where we got to experience a broad variety of terrain, safaris, meals, and lodging. By far what separates Wander Africa from other agencies is the personal touch and research they put into each of their recommendations. They were very thoughtful in accommodating individual preferences for travelers who want to experience as much as possible to those who wanted more down time. It truly felt like we were traveling like a local with their long-standing ties to the community and the authentic non-tourist experiences. The Kenyan people were so warm and welcoming, and this trip is one that has and will continue to leave a long lasting residue. We cannot wait for our next trip with Jay & Brandi!

Zimbabwe and South Africa
Wander Africa created a life time experience trip visiting Zimbabwe. The safaris where amazing seeing animal in the wild. It was an education learning from the guides about the animals, their behaviors, and the circle of life. Victoria Falls was amazing even though there was drought. I loved all the lodges we stayed at because each lodge had their own unique character. The managers and employees went out of their way to accommodate all our needs and request. Their friendliness and hospitality made me feel like I was a special guest at the lodges. The food was excellent and abundant at all the locations. Everything was delicious! It was an eye opener learning about the poverty and lack of government involvement in the people's lives. The people of Zimbabwe were kind, humble, and resilient. I was glad to see and hear about outside interest and charitable organizations helping the schools and the people of Zimbabwe. I plan to return to Africa and I hope to volunteer in areas where needed. Thank you Wander Africa for an amazing trip.

I can’t believe I even thought to attempt to put together a safari trip myself! Wander Africa planned my 10 day trip with so much attention to detail. I stayed at the most beautiful lodges, ate food that had this picky eater always going back for seconds, had passionate and highly educated guides, and of course seeing so much wildlife from sunrise to sunset! Thank you Wander Africa for a trip of a lifetime!

South Africa and Zimbabwe
This was my 7th trip to Africa, and I didn't expect to go back again. Being there again made me realize how much Africa gets in your blood: being back in the bush, the safari vehicles, loving the quiet of the bush, seeing wildlife in their natural habitat, meeting the wonderful locals, African arts and crafts. I have done many safaris and seen many of the South East Africa Countries and this trip put together by Wander Africa was one of the best. Although I travel quite a bit and am an experienced Africa traveler, I would only travel in Africa on a trip that was organized by an experienced Africa hand, one who knows the best camps and locations to meet your specific expectations for an Africa experience. And importantly one that takes care of all transportation! Getting around to your various destinations is not for the faint of heart, you need a pro to set it up!
