✨ What makes Wander Africa different?
We don’t do pre-packaged trips. Every journey is handcrafted with care, connection, and a deep understanding of Africa. We’ve personally stayed at over 250 properties and only recommend places we know and trust.
💸 How much does a safari cost?
Most trips fall in the $1,200–$2,500++ per person per day range, depending on timing, destinations, and accommodation style.
🧾 Do you charge planning fees?
Yes—our $1,000 planning fee goes toward your trip and reflects the time, access, and personal care we bring to every journey.
📆 How far in advance should I plan?
Ideally 6–18 months out. For peak season or gorilla trekking, the earlier the better. That said, we’ve also planned epic last-minute trips (record: 3 days’ notice!).
🛬 What’s included?
Accommodations, regional flights and transfers, most meals, park fees, and all scheduled activities. Your custom proposal will detail everything clearly.
🐘 Will I see lots of wildlife?
Absolutely. From the Big 5 to the lesser-known wonders, we tailor your safari to match your wildlife interests—whether that’s predators, migrations, or rare species.
🌍 Do you only plan trips in Africa?
Africa is our first love—but we also curate journeys to India, Nepal, Bhutan, Sri Lanka and Latin America too.
💬 Will I have support while traveling?
Always. From the moment you land to when you return home, we’re available via WhatsApp, and our trusted ground partners are with you every step of the way.
✈️ Can you help with flights?
While we don’t book international flights, we’re happy to advise on the best routes and timing. We do handle internal flights in Africa.

Absolutely. We specialize in private, tailor-made trips—whether it’s a honeymoon, a multi-generational family journey, or a group of friends.
