A World in One Country

South Africa delivers an extraordinary range of experiencesβ€”iconic wildlife safaris, cosmopolitan cities, rugged coastlines, ancient culture, and world-class food and wine. You can spend the morning surfing and the afternoon sipping Cabernet. You can fly into a private reserve and watch elephants from your suite.

It’s ideal for first-time visitors and seasoned travelers alike. Whether exploring the streets of Cape Town, hiking the Drakensberg, or savoring silence in the bush, South Africa invites you to feel, explore, and return..

What we Love Most

Where to Go.

  • South Africa’s premier safari region. Known for close-up predator sightings, elephant herds, and exceptional tracking experiences.

  • A city of natural drama and cultural depth. From Table Mountain to the V&A Waterfront and nearby Cape Peninsula, it’s the heart of urban South Africa.

  • A short drive from Cape Town, this region delivers award-winning wines, culinary brilliance, and striking scenery.

  • A lush coastal stretch with forests, mountains, and beaches. Ideal for self-drive adventures and family travel.

  • Malaria-free safari destinations like Kwandwe offer outstanding wildlife experiences for families and first-timers.

  • Tswalu’s vast wilderness offers a very different take on safariβ€”fewer predators, more solitude, and red sand landscapes that go on forever.

Your itinerary

We try to never curate the same itinerary twice, but below are just some of the itineraries we have curated in the past.

Pairs well with:

Tanzania, Rwanda, Uganda, Zanzibar

South Africa is where everything comes together. You can witness a leopard stalk through golden grass one day, then kayak beside penguins the next. It’s home to epic scenery, deeply rooted culture, and experiences that are as bold or gentle as you need them to be. With excellent infrastructure and properties that blend style with soul, South Africa is as easy to fall in love with as it is to navigate.

  • Cape Town and the Winelands are best from October to April. Safaris in the north (Kruger and surrounds) are excellent year-round, with the dry season (May to September) offering the best wildlife visibility.

  • The Cape has a Mediterranean climateβ€”dry summers and wet winters. The safari regions follow a typical subtropical pattern: warm and wet in summer, dry and mild in winter.

  • Very. South Africa is perfect for families, with malaria-free reserves, flexible lodges, and a wide range of activities. From penguin spotting to wildlife tracking, kids will love it.

  • Many nationalities can enter visa-free for up to 90 days. Always check current requirements before traveling.

  • Most of the country is malaria-free, especially the Cape and Eastern Cape. In the Kruger region, malaria is presentβ€”consult your doctor. Tap water is generally safe in urban areas.

  • South Africa has excellent flight and road infrastructure. Most journeys involve a combination of scheduled flights, private transfers, and self-drive options. Safari lodges typically handle all transfers once you're on property.
