The Land of Water and Wilderness
Botswana is where safari slows down. Itβs a place of untouched beauty and total immersionβwhere elephants wade past your deck, leopards slip through the reeds, and silence is part of the experience. With a conservation-first philosophy, Botswana offers some of the most exclusive and pristine wildlife viewing on the continent.
From the lush floodplains of the Okavango Delta to the stark beauty of the Kalahari and the shimmering salt pans of Makgadikgadi, Botswana is a land of dramatic contrast. You come here to feel remote, present, and connected to the rhythm of the wild.
What we Love Most

Where to Go.
-
A UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the most unique ecosystems in the world. Seasonal floods attract incredible concentrations of wildlife.
-
These exclusive private concessions are known for dramatic predator-prey interactions, thriving elephant populations, and remarkable guiding. Remote and raw, they offer a front-row seat to nature at its most untamed.
-
A vast, white expanse of salt and sky. In wet months, flamingos and zebra herds return; in dry months, itβs an ethereal moonscape.
-
Vast, open, and full of space. Known for its black-maned lions, honey badgers, and the feeling of being truly remote.
Properties we Love
Botswana is one of Africaβs true wilderness treasures. With strict conservation policies and a low-impact approach to tourism, it offers unparalleled privacy, exclusivity, and connection to the land. Whether paddling through the Delta, bouncing across the pans, or flying over elephant paths, this is safari in its purest form.

Your itinerary
We try to never curate the same itinerary twice, but below are just some of the itineraries we have curated in the past.
Pairs well with:
Tanzania, Rwanda, Uganda, Zanzibar
-
June to October is the dry season and prime for wildlife viewingβespecially as water levels rise and animals concentrate. The green season (November to March) brings dramatic skies, newborn animals, and fantastic birding.
-
Botswana has a semi-arid climate. Dry season is cool and clear; wet season is hot and punctuated by afternoon storms. October is typically the hottest month.
-
Some camps have age restrictions, but Botswana can be wonderful for families with older children or teensβespecially those open to adventure and fully disconnecting.
-
Most nationalities do not require a visa for stays up to 90 days, but check current regulations before travel.
-
Botswana is a malaria area. Prophylactics are recommended, especially during the wetter months. Bring good insect repellent and consult a travel clinic before your trip.
-
Botswana is primarily a fly-in destination. Small bush flights connect camps across the Delta, Kalahari, and beyond. Camps often combine water and land activities, and transfers become part of the experience.
