The Pangolin Project is Kenya’s only organization dedicated to safeguarding pangolins and their habitats. Rooted in the Nyekweri ecosystem, it engages over 80% of the local community through transparent, inclusive conservation. Through rigorous science, community- led restoration and long-term land-protection models, they protect the endangered giant ground pangolin while revitalizing the broader landscape and supporting sustainable livelihoods.
