Luxury Yoga Safari - Kenya
ONLY 4 SPOTS LEFT!!
Hosted by Michelle Corp
Africa is the land of mystic, magic and a raw spiritual power. Everyone who steps foot on this continent simply falls in love. We are going to connect this love through meditation and yoga as we explore the ancient lands of Kenya.
Every day will hold a different surprise, as we begin by exploring a 56,000 acre private conservancy in Northern Laikipia. Here, we can expect an abundance of elephants, grevy zebra, kudu, and if lucky some of the big cats too! In fact, it is in Loisaba that the ultra rare black leopard has been tracked, but very few have ever seen.
Our 5 star luxury camp is located on a hilltop overlooking the entire conservancy as far as the eye can see. Each room comes with an ensuite shower/bathroom, a front porch space and jaw dropping scenery, this is pure safari luxury at its best. The days will be spent practicing yoga, meditating, being driven around searching for the wildlife, or better yet on foot tracking the lions or leopards. If this isn’t exciting enough, how about biking through the conservancy, or taking a camel safari, or even a guided walk - all of which are included!
From here after our true “Out of Africa” experience, we fly on a private aircraft to the world famous Masai Mara area, where we have an entire estate to ourselves in the wilderness. For five nights we have all this land to enjoy, with day and night game drives, guided walks, swimming, community visits, local school visits, horseback riding, and of course yoga and meditation. Here, we can practice on the river bank frequented by hippo and crocodile, or on the grounds of the House in the Wild. Wherever we choose to have our practice each day, it will be just as powerful as the last.
To offer a different experience House in the Wild is a lodge, and the structures on the property are more permanent. Each and every room here is different, offering privacy and freedom to walk around (it is fenced). All meals, drinks, and activities are included here.
Finally, with our hearts fulfilled, mind cleansed and souls energized, rested, and connected, we leave the wilderness and board our flight back to Nairobi. Here, on our final few hours in Kenya, we visit the David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust to see these beautiful rescued orphaned elephants as they are rehabilitated, followed by a visit to the Giraffe Sanctuary to hand feed some rare Rothschild Giraffe. Dinner will be shortly after, in one of Kenya’s most famous Indian restaurants, before we are dropped off to the airport.
There is never a goodbye when it comes to Africa, there is always a “see you soon!”
